In my final two and a half years at Carleton, I was given the opportunity to refine my skills by working in the campus GIS laboratory. As an assistant in the lab I was a member of teams that contributed to a wide range of research projects for professors and students. After graduation, I returned to campus for a short stint as a GIS specialist in order to continue work on a model of urban expansion in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. My work with LiDAR and Addis Ababa is discussed in further detail in the Portfolio page.
